Coma Berenices

Coma Berenices is the constellation of the Northern hemisphere of the sky. It contains 64 stars and can be seen with the necked eye. The North Pole of galaxy is situated in this constellation. And it is possible to see hundreds and sometimes even thousands of accumulations of galaxies.
There are no bright stars in this constellation and the brightest one is β. Watching it you'll see how the sun looks at the distance of 27 light years, because this star is analogue of our sun.
The second brightest star is Diadem and has the star magnitude 4.32m. This is the only star of constellation that has the name.
The north pole of galaxy is situated in this constellation and the big accumulation of Virgo is situated near the Southern limits of the constellation. It is situated at the distance of about 40 million light years from our planet. This accumulation has more than 300 galaxies and there are several spiral galaxies among them.
This constellation has also richer accumulation of galaxies that is situated farer and has the name Coma. This constellation was considered to be the asterism during the time of Ancient Greeks. It was referred to Leo (the end of the tale), Virgo or Bootes.
This constellation appeared in the night sky as the constellation in the beginning of 16th century. But only in the beginning of 17th century it was included into the list of constellations and was officially investigated as the constellation and not the asterism.
