Pegasus

Pegasus is the equatorial constellation. It is situated to the South of Andromeda and contains 166 stars seen with the necked eye.
The ancient pictures describe this constellation being head over heals. The neck and the head of the hoarse are the line of stars.
This is the ancient constellation that was named Hoarse in the ancient atlases. In Greek mythology Pegasus was the hoarse with wings that was born from the drops of Gorgon's blood. Babylon people called this constellation just "the hoarse". Greek people called it "the great hoarse". Arabs still call this constellation the Great Hoarse.
The brightest stars of this constellation are Eniph and Marcab. The translations of the names of brightest stars from Arabian are rather interesting. They come from Arabs and mean saddle, shoulder, nose, the navel of the hoarse.
Three brightest stars of the constellation together with the main star of Andromeda make the asterism called the Great Square of Pegasus. This constellation doesn't have the star marked with the letter "δ". One of the stars that referred to this constellation was referred to the Andromeda constellation later and finally fixed in Andromeda in 1928.
Pegasus also has the spiral galaxies and many star-clusters the images of which are often used to make the general look of our galaxy.
