Vulpecula

Vulpecula is the dim constellation of the North hemisphere that is situated inside the summer triangle. This constellation has 72 stars that can be seen with the necked eye. This constellation is best seen in Asia and Eastern Europe especially in summer.
In 1967 the first radio pulsations of the star were discovered.
This constellation is poor in bright stars however it is possible to find the objects interesting for observation. For example, red and blue planetary nebula is one of the most interesting objects of the constellation.
Collapsible asterism was also discovered in this constellation. It has 6 stars of sixth and seventh star magnitude and they make the straight line and four stars more make the hook. In the end the form of the constellation reminds the peg.
This is the new constellation introduces by the modern astronomers in 1690 under the name "Vulpecula cum Ansere" that means "the little fox with goose". And the atlas depicted this constellation as the fox that was holding the goose in its mouth.
This constellation is situated near the constellation that depicts the eagle. And according to scientists fox is sly, artful, cruel, gluttonous and greedy animal that is similar to the eagle in its qualities. Later eagle was sometimes chosen as separate constellation but this practice didn't get the recognition and the denomination was shorted just to Vulpecula that means "fox" in the translation from Latin.
